"O Lord God, how comfortable we are.
How exquisitely complacent.
How deliciously at ease.
We, you church, loll drowsily amid our privileges.
We treat our spiritual treasures cheaply,
as if possessing them in abundance
were a natural state of affairs,
always to be expected."

Thank about says it all. The small group I lead is in a season of prayer and the spirit of this qoute is coming through loud and clear.
The line, "We treat our spiritual treasures cheaply" really struck me. I found myself thinking about all the things I was thankful for this season and realized suddenly that all too few of them had lasting substance.
